Monster Mash Up

Children from junior infants to 6th class were encouraged to design and create their own monsters. The only rule of the monster mash up was that children could only use recycled materials from home. Parents were very much involved in our initiative as pupils were encouraged to create their monster at home using any recycled materials that they were able to find. We concluded our initiative by having a ‘Monster Mash Up Showcase.’ This involved each class going on a tour around the whole school to see the incredible monsters that were created. Pupils enjoyed the trail which consisted of over 250 monsters which were made using recycled materials.
